For the first decade of writing books, author Sandra D. Bricker juggled a full-time job while keeping up with contracts, deadines, and the laugh-out-loud plots of her novels. Now that she’s given up the day job and is writing full-time, her daily schedule has changed quite a bit. The average day – without any appointments or unexpected interruptions – plays out a little like this:

9:00 a.m. If I haven’t rolled out of bed yet, this is the time to do it

9:30-10:00 Play time with Sophie (the red-haired collie who shares my life)

10:00-11:00 Breakfast, meds, watch Daytime, and make that first cup of coffee

11:00-12:00 Time for prayer, Bible study, praise and worship

12:00 p.m. Check in on email inboxes, Facebook, Twitter (2nd cup of coffee)

1:00-3:00 WRITING

3:00-3:30 Exercise break; get the blood flowing again

3:30-4:00 Lunch

4:00-7:00 WRITING

7:00-7:30 Unwind; chase the dog around a little

7:30-8:30 Dinner

8:30-9:30 Check back in on email inboxes, Facebook, Twitter

9:30-11:00 Make notes for the next day’s WRITING, watch some DVR’d television

11:00 p.m. Read…Watch Leno and Jimmy Fallon…Try to get to sleep by 1 a.m.

In the first book, readers fell in love with Emma Rae and Jackson, and they’ve gotten more acquainted with them in the two books that followed. But now it’s time for the diamond to meet the road as Jackson fields an offer to sell The Tanglewood, a move that will uproot this high-flying family act once and for all. Get reacquainted with all of the lovable and quirky characters from the first three books as your favorite diabetic baker figures out if she’ll achieve her greatest goal of all: Will Emma, at last become FINALLY the Bride?
