Teaser Tuesday - A Gentleman Says "I Do" by Amelia Grey

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

This week my Teaser Tuesday is from a book I'm currently reading on my Kindle (I'm behind again) - A Gentleman Says "I Do" by Amelia Grey.

"

From Page 17:

Iverson wasn't quite ready to leave Miss Crisp.  It wasn't something he could revel in, of course, but he was intrigued by Sir Phillip's daughter.  With her, he believed, he'd met his match.

About A Gentleman Says "I Do" :

Her Writing Talent is Causing All Kinds of Trouble...

The daughter of a famous writer, Catalina Crisp has helped her father publish a parody that makes Iverson Brentwood's whole family the talk of the town, and not in a good way.

Because He's the Reality Behind the Story...

Furious and threatening, Iverson storms into Catalina's house, demanding satisfaction, but the infamous rake has finally met his match. With her cool demeanor and intense intelligence, Catalina heats his blood like no other woman in his notorious history...

PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT with either the link to your own Teaser Tuesdays post, or share your ‘teasers’ in a comment here (if you don’t have a blog). Thanks!

  2. Sounds like a good book! I always love that kind of book, it's my guilty pleasure read haha. Especially when the man "meets his match". :)

  3. I just finished a book where a guy ended up leaving his girl because he thought he'd met his match...at least, that's what he wrote in a note to her. This was also after they'd played house for the summer. Seems like a little bit of the opposite is happening here.

Good teaser. And thanks again for stopping by my blog.
