Book Description:
Abigail O’Malley wants to find true love…which is about as easy as catching a leprechaun.
Abigail O’Malley’s world turns upside down when a rival Irishman threatens to take her bar, an historic Savannah landmark, mere days before the start of the annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration.
When she captures a leprechaun, her three wishes include his gold, fairy magic, and the mystery of her One True Love.
Will Michael McKnight have time to prove he’s up to the task of granting all her wishes before the bad guys close in and destroy Abby’s dreams forever?

My
Review
A young woman looking for love, a fairy hero needing redemption and a box of gold all play an important part in Three Wishes by Paula Millhouse. A short fantasy romance, Three Wishes, is filled with likable characters, snappy dialogue and an Irish bar that needs saving. Rapidly paced, this short story is perfect for either a lunch or after dinner read.
Determined to save her family bar, Abigail O'Malley longs for the days of her childhood and her fairy friends. When she captures a real leprechaun, Abigail wishes for three things - true love, a pot of gold and for the fairies to return to her yard. She never expected to fall in love with the leprechaun.
Still being punished for his misuse of magic and greed, Michael McKnight is stuck in a leprechaun's body. When Abigail invites the fairies back, Michael answers her call - after all he'd been her childhood playmate. Now he needs to prove he's worthy of winning her love.
The scenes between Abigail and Michael are funny, sweet and a lot of fun. They have good chemistry and good dialogue. Ms. Millhouse did a good job developing the characters in a rapidly paced story.
Will Abigail realize Michael is the love she's been looking for all along? And will Michael be able to help Abigail save her family's bar? You'll have to read Three Wishes to find out. I really enjoyed it and I think you will too.
My Rating: 4.5 out of 5 Crowns
