and has been writing about shady characters ever since. She was born and raised
in Toronto and has a degree in Anthropology from York University. Her short

ReplyDeleteThanks for the question, Mai. I would imagine that a big ego would hurt writers. In order to aim for truth in your writing, you have to be open and I think a big ego would only stand in the way of that.

DeleteYes, when I'm working on a project, I do have a daily word goal. For a first draft, it's 2,000 words a day. I also work by a timer.
This novel sounds captivating, enthralling and compelling. You are very creative and talented. The excerpt is wonderful. I visited your site and enjoyed the accolades about your book. I am Canadian but live in the U.S. and learned that you are in Toronto, which is near where i lived.
