My Book Beginning:  

Endgame: CSI Reilly Steel, Book 7, by Casey Hill

There was nothing quite like the stench of fresh vomit.  

My Thoughts:  This beginning tells me a couple of things because I have read all of the previous books and know that Reilly is a Forensic officer for the Garda (Irish police), she's clearly at a crime scene and either the victim vomited or one of the first officers to arrive at the crime scene vomited.

You beauty....Chris thought, marveling at how modern technology could make their jobs so much easier sometimes.  He sat forward eagerly. 

My Thoughts:  I haven’t gotten this far into the book but I know that Chris is one of the Detectives who works closely with Reilly on cases - they have an unusual working relationship due to a mutual attraction that neither knows what to do about.
